Kantata GO opens in Chrome’s side panel from any tab. Save a date and duration as a local draft, choose a project and task now or later, and keep your time entries together while you work.

The extension’s Save button saves a draft in your Chrome profile. To log time, open the draft in Kantata OX, review the native form, and select Save in Kantata yourself.

What you can do

• Capture a draft with a date and duration from any tab.
• Start with 15, 30, 45, and 60 minute buttons, or set your own presets.
• Reuse named templates for recurring projects, tasks, durations, billable settings, and notes.
• Find projects and tasks with searchable selectors.
• Open and prefill Kantata’s native Add Time Entry form.
• Keep track of drafts, entries that need confirmation, and logged entries.
• Compare logged hours with your workweek and scheduled tasks, including billing splits and project balances.

What you need

Kantata GO is designed for Chrome 123 or later and an existing Kantata OX account. Sign in to Kantata in the same Chrome profile and allow access to your organization’s HTTPS Mavenlink host when Chrome asks.

The extension is free to use. A Kantata account is separate from the extension.

Getting started

The public Chrome Web Store listing is being prepared. When it is available, you will find the installation link on this page.

1. Sign in to your Kantata OX account in Chrome.
2. Open Kantata GO and choose Set up site access.
3. Enter your organization’s Mavenlink host and allow Chrome’s site-access request.
4. Save a draft, then use Open in Kantata or Log time to carry it into the native form.
5. Review the values and complete any required fields before saving in Kantata.

A few things to know

Kantata GO does not automatically submit time entries. You review and save the live entry in Kantata. If an entry shows Needs confirmation, check Time Entries before marking it logged or returning it to drafts.

Drafts, presets, and templates stay in the current Chrome profile. Requests go directly to the Kantata host you authorize. Nopalworks receives no Kantata account data from the extension.

Kantata GO is independently developed by Nopalworks for Kantata OX. It is not an official Kantata product. Support for other browsers is not claimed.

Help and privacy

If the connection is unavailable, check that you are signed in to the intended Kantata account and that Chrome has granted site access to the correct host. After disconnecting, refresh an open Kantata tab to end any form helper already loaded there.
