Kantata GO
Privacy Policy

Effective November 6, 2026

Nopalworks publishes Kantata GO, an independently developed Chrome extension for saving time-entry drafts, prefilling the native Kantata OX time-entry form, and viewing your week.

Data used

When you connect a Kantata site, Kantata GO reads your Kantata user and account identifiers, the name returned with your user profile, available projects, tasks and roles, and your workweek, schedule, and time entries. Chrome manages the authentication cookies used with these HTTPS requests. The extension uses this data to show totals, populate draft fields, confirm native saves, and keep accounts separate.

The extension checks the active tab’s address when Chrome site access permits it to recognize the connected Kantata Time Entries page. It observes the time-entry form during a handoff to populate fields and detect cancellation, validation errors, or a save attempt. After a canceled handoff, it can clear carried-over values when you reopen Add Time Entry.

Storage and retention

The selected site, presets, templates, and saved entries are stored in this Chrome profile. Saved entries may include project, task and role identifiers, date, duration, billable status, notes, and an entry identifier when verified. The extension temporarily keeps information about an open handoff, including existing entry IDs used for comparison.

Drafts and preferences remain in Chrome local storage until you remove them or uninstall the extension. Use the trash button to remove saved entries and Settings to remove templates. Disconnect clears the configured site and revokes its Chrome site access. Saved entries and preferences are available if you reconnect to the same account. Uninstalling the extension removes its locally stored data. The active tab address is used to select the handoff destination. Temporary handoff references in Chrome session storage are cleared when the handoff ends or Chrome restarts.

Requests and clipboard

Live requests go directly to the Kantata host you authorize. When you click Log time or Open in Kantata, the extension fills the native form in your current Time Entries tab or a tab opened from the panel. It observes the form to check whether the native save can be verified. You review and save any live time entry in Kantata. Nopalworks receives no account data from the extension and uses no publisher server, analytics, or advertising for its features. Copying a draft places its details on your device clipboard, where they remain until replaced or cleared. The destination website and your clipboard are the destinations for the data you choose to use through these actions.

When you open the public privacy-policy page, its hosting provider receives ordinary web-request information, such as your IP address and browser request headers, and may keep standard access and security logs.

Site access and control

Chrome asks for access to the Kantata host you choose in Settings. You can remove that access in Settings or Chrome’s extension controls. Your Chrome profile and device access controls protect the locally stored drafts. Refresh an open Kantata tab after disconnecting to end any form helper already loaded in that tab.

Chrome Web Store policy

Kantata GO’s use of data obtained through Chrome extension capabilities adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Chrome Web Store Program Policies
